Go to your MyProfile tab then down to MyPhotos.Add the photo to one of your albums if it is not there already. Choose the album where the photo is located and click on “Edit”.To the right of every photo is a box. On the bottom line of every box there is a line that says “Make Profile Photo”. Click on that line.
Click on the Chat button at the bottom right of your browser window. Your Chat window will pop up. In the top right corner of the Chat window click on the Settings icon. Make sure the first option Chat Sounds is unchecked.
Having a lot of chats open can slow the site down significantly. Closing any open chats will make a big difference in your page load time and in chat responsiveness.
To close open chat windows navigate to the Chat bar at the bottom of your browser window. Click on the Xnext to the Username of any active or recently active chat.
Mobile users click on the Menu bars in the upper left of your screen. Navigate to Messages, then to Chat. A chat screen will appear. You can close any active or recently active chats from here.
There are two ways to delete nonexistent notifications:
You can click on the New Updates bubble that appears under your Username in the upper right of your browser window. A Notifications pop-up will appear. Click on the X next to the notification you’d like to delete.
Or you can navigate to the My Profile tab in your browser window and click on My Notifications. A new page will appear listing all of your notifications. Click the X next to the notification you’d like to delete.
Premium BateWorld members are able to access 24/7 live video chat with other members. Simply navigate to Live Cams at the top of your page. Select VidChat from the dropdown menu and Open VidChat to get started.
A popup window will appear showing you room options. Select a room to enter by pressing the green Join button. You will automatically be taken into the room you choose. You can now enter text into the general chat via the Chat window at the bottom of your screen.
Verified Premium Members can broadcast live video in the chat rooms. To broadcast your camera, toggle the button next to the Camera icon at the top right of your screen to green. A popup will appear asking for permission to access your webcam and mic. Click Allow to start broadcasting. You’ll see a preview of your cam image in the upper left corner of your screen. Once your camera and mic are active you can change your settings by clicking the Settings icon at the right corner of your preview image. To disable your camera or microphone once it’s been activated, click on the Camera or Audio on/off switches in the upper right corner of your cam preview image.
To interact with other members directly select their Username from the list on the left of your screen. A popup will appear with several options including viewing their profile, private messaging, etc. Just click on the option you’d like to use. To see who is broadcasting video, click on the Camera icon just above your video preview on the left side of your screen. Broadcasts will appear as moveable popups over the VidChat field area. You can resize and move broadcast windows.
You can enter more than one room. Just click the Rooms List button at the top of the VidChat field. Click the green Join button to open another room tab in the VidChat field, or create and invite other users into your own room.
VidChat users must follow BateWorld Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Anyone who violates these rules risks having their profile deleted or banned.

On the bottom right corner of your browser window you will see a Chat bubble icon. This is the Bate Chat instant messaging feature.
Click the Chat icon. A window will pop up showing users who are available to chat. To start chatting, click on any member name in this window. A new chat box will pop up on the bottom of your browser window. Type in your message and hit the return key. That’s it! You’re chatting!
You can also start chatting with another member by opening their profile and clicking on Send IM under his profile photo.
If someone is trying to chat with you, you’ll see a red number notification next to their username at the bottom of your browser window.
