How Does BateWorld Handle Reports?

Like many sites featuring user-generated content, BateWorld relies on its members to help us spot when things aren’t quite right. Anyone on the site can report anything to us for a closer review with just a click of a button. 

Any place you find the flag icon ( ), or see the Report a Problem link, you’ll be able to open a short form that will allow you to flag media, comments, blog posts, or anything else you find on the site, that should be reviewed by the BateWorld team. In any situation that requires more information, we welcome quick screenshots of what you’re seeing to help us better understand the situation. You can upload these right from the report form. 

Every report submitted automatically opens a new helpdesk ticket, so that we can keep track of issues from start to finish. Reports are reviewed one at a time and an individual decision is made about what action comes next. Content which violates the TOS agreement or is not in line with the overall BateWorld Community Guidelines might be hidden or permanently deleted and the poster issued a warning. Repeat offenses will likely result in the poster being removed from the site entirely. We may reach out to you if we require additional information or details about an issue you’ve reported. 

We take each and every report seriously, and strive to provide an outcome in the best interest of all members. We recognize too, that we don’t always get it right. If you continue to see TOS-violating content or users on the site, don’t hesitate to share another report. There is no algorithmic assistance or AI involved in our systems—real guys review each and every ticket received. Sometimes a second look is all it takes to spot a problem we missed the first time. 

If you are unsure about whether or not a comment or piece of content violates the TOS or Community Guidelines, the best thing you can do is to send it our way. BateWorld becomes a better, stronger, and safer community with each problem we’re able to address quickly. And we can’t do it without you. 

Someone has stolen my photos! What can I do?

If someone has stolen your photo you can report the incident to BateWorld staff by clicking Report This Personunder the photo in his profile. You can also report the image directly by clicking Report Inappropriate Content just below the photo in question.

In both cases, make sure you provide a description in the text box telling us that the image is stolen. Then click the black Send Report button.

Someone from the BateWorld Support Team will take action right away.

How do I contact the site administrators?

Go to support.bateworld.com and click on the Submit a Request button. You can also click the Contact Us link on the bottom right of any bateworld.com page.

What if someone is soliciting or trying to sell me something off site?

BateWorld has a policy against phishing and soliciting.

If you encounter anyone using their member profile to lure you into providing credit card information or illegal activity, report it to the BateWorld Support Team immediately. Provide the member’s Username and as much relevant information about where the incident occured on the site.

BateWorld is not responsible for any interactions that occur in violation of the Terms of Service.

How can I report spam or other inappropriate content?

You can report spam or other content that goes against the BateWorld TOS and Community Guidelines by clicking any of the Report… links located on the page of content you wish to report.

If you’re unable to find the Report link, contact the BateWorld Support Team. Make sure to copy and paste the URL of the page you are reporting, or attach a screenshot.

How can I report an error or other problem with the site?

First check out the Recent News section on the homepage. Often if there is a big site error or problem, we will have posted something there.

If your issue wasn’t addressed there, contact the BateWorld Support Team. Someone will investigate and try to get the issue resolved right away.

How can I deal with someone that is bothering me?

Premium members can block other users in the Account Settings page. If someone is harassing you, please report them to an administrator here.
