Help Desk Manager

BateWorld is seeking a full time, customer-focused Help Desk Manager to join our team. As the Help Desk Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing exceptional customer service and technical support. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our platform operates smoothly and that our members have a positive experience. You will work directly with the Director of Member Experience to provide top notch support to BateWorld members. This is a contract position.

Role Highlights:

  • Provide prompt and courteous customer support via the help desk ticketing system
  • Educate members about site functionality and direct them to the knowledge base or other resources
  • Assist members with best practices, safety guidelines, and security measures to enhance their experience and maintain their privacy
  • Work with the Senior Developer and Director of Member Experience to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to the bateworld.com platform
  • Work with the Director of Member Experience to develop a member retention strategy for cancellation requests, and reactivating former Premium members
  • Assist in creating and updating support documentation, FAQs, macros, and knowledgebase articles to help users find answers to common questions
  • Collaborate with other team members to address user concerns and improve overall service quality

You are:

  • A self-starter who’s accustomed to working without supervision
  • An effective English language communicator who understands the challenges of being part of a decentralized but collaborative team
  • In possession of a degree, relevant certifications, or equivalent work experience
  • Ready to be empathetic, sex positive, and patient
  • Already familiar with adult online communities and social media platforms
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and GChat), and help desk software/customer support tools
  • Comfortable and familiar with explicit adult entertainment media and products
