I look at my Messages and Friend Request notification, and there is nothing there?
PHANTOM MESSAGES Due to a recent server error, some people may have notices for messages and friend requests that were never received. To remove these notices from your list, once again, click on the red Updates rectangle. In the list that appears, you can click on the X to the LEFT of the notice to remove it. Clicking on the X in the upper right of the list will not delete the notification. Be sure to click and open EVERY message that you get no matter how short or it will keep showing up as new.
